Acne brings about pains emotionally and physically. It causes emotional pain when we are experiencing anxiety and depression resulting to low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence because of your physical appearance. But aside from these emotional pains, physical pain can be experienced as well – when your acne is severely breaking out and when your acne is swollen and you’re having blemishes as well that even slightly touching it will cause you pain. This is the price you have to pay for being so careless primarily of what you eat. You don’t just eat food because you want it to eat, you should also take into consideration the system inside you otherwise that system will not work and much more cause you great trouble like excreting toxins in your skin causing acne to appear.

So how are we going to cure acne holistically? We can cure acne holistically only if we are already relieved of both emotional and physical pains. First take off that physical pain, if your acne is swelling and blemishes occur, you can try ice therapy which is a fast relief and really, really inexpensive. You just need a plastic bag, put on some ice, it’s better if you will crush it but not necessarily then wrap it around a clean cloth and place the same on your acne particularly to those swollen acne and you will be amazed that the swelling is reducing and you will feel the smoothness and tightness on your skin.

Another way of curing acne is by way of medication especially if your acne is severely breaking out. But before you medicate you should seek first the help of a dermatologist because if you are to use those medications advertised on television, radio and newspaper, more likely you will have frequent acne breakouts and will irritate your skin severely resulting to a much bigger dilemma.

Have you heard of acne medication containing analgesics? Your dermatologist will surely prescribe those kinds of medications for the relief of the pain your acne is causing. But if you didn’t really have the budget to go and see a dermatologist, you can try those over the counter acne medications containing analgesic for immediate relief.
Once your physical pain is gone, you are now facing the dilemma of having acne scars. Good thing that in our genre today, with the advances in our technology and the advances in the studies about acne, nothing is now impossible. Even deep scars caused by acne can hardly notice by any one because of these advances.

Having ended the agony of experiencing physical pain and the scars brought by acne, gone are the days when you were in pain emotionally. Your self-esteem and self-confidence will start boosting up. You are now ready to face the world and prove them wrong of their misconceptions about people having acne.
